McIntosh moves on loan
Martin McIntosh in action for Hibs against Aberdeen
Hibernian defender Martin McIntosh has joined First Division new boys Rotherham United on a three month loan deal in a bid to revive his flagging career.
The towering left-sided centre half was signed up by Alex McLeish in February 2000 but injury and the solid form of the Easter Road rearguard last season has limited McIntosh to just 18 first team games with the Edinburgh club. Wycombe Wanderers had also expressed an interest in the former St Mirren, Clydebank and Hamilton Accies man. The 30-year-old, who has two Scotland B caps to his name, spent two-and-a-half seasons with Stockport County before moving back north of the border to Hibs for a £250,000 fee.
