Rangers pair poised to leave

Scott Wilson and Dariusz Adamczuk could be the next to join the Rangers player exodus, BBC Sport Online understands.

As Tore Andre Flo and Ronald de Boer received a boost to their Rangers careers, two of their team-mates seem poised to join the three who have been transferred out of Ibrox in the last week.

Representatives from English First Division club Preston North End again watched Wilson in action against Fenerbahce in the Champions League qualifier on Wednesday night.

It is believed that Wilson would have already been sold for a fee of about £1m had Lorenzo Amoruso not been injured.

Reports suggest that defensive midfielder Adamczuk is on his way to English Second Division club Wigan Athletic on a three-month loan deal.

Back to face Dunfermline

Wigan lost 6-1 at home to Everton in a friendly this week, their line-up already including former Aberdeen goalkeeper Derek Stillie, former Dundee United defender Jason de Vos, former Motherwell midfielder Ged Brannan and Scottish striker Andy Liddell.

Former Polish international Adamczuk has rarely played for Rangers since his move from Dundee.

Meanwhile, striker Flo has been included in the Norwegian squad, despite suggestions that his international future was in doubt.

And Ronald de Boer announced that he is likely to be fit in time to face Scottish Premier League leaders Dunfermline Athletic on Saturday.

De Boer told the Rangers website: "The good news is that my Achilles injury has cleared up and I will be ready for my first game of the season against Dunfermline this weekend.

"I feel fit and have no pain, but I am not in the squad for the Fenerbahce game.

"I still need a bit more fitness and conditioning."

Flo had been warned by Norwegian assistant manager Harald Aabrekk that he would have to improve his performances or risk losing his place in the national team to Valencia's John Carew or Manchester United striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

But an impressive start to the season alongside Claudio Caniggia has netted three goals in two-and-a-half games this season.

Flo has been included in a squad that was full of surprises, with Manchester United's Ronny Johnsen, former Celtic star Vidar Riseth and Andre Bergdolmo all being left out for the game against Turkey in Ulleval on 15 August.
