East Fife 2-3 Raith Rovers
Raith Rovers came from two goals down to stun East Fife in the first round of the Bell's Scottish League Challenge Cup.

East Fife edged ahead in the 24th minute through a Paul McManus header before Dave Clarke's men doubled their lead in the 43rd minute when McManus jinked to the byline and squared the ball to Ross Graham, who fired home.

Rovers pulled a goal back in the 53rd minute when Jay Stein's low cross was bundled over the line by striker Nacho Novo.

Veteran defender Shaun Dennis levelled the tie with a fierce strike 14 minutes later.

East Fife were then reduced to 10 men when James Herkes was sent off for elbowing Scott Crabbe.

Raith's new Spanish signing Novo completed the remarkable comeback when he burst into the box and lashed home a shot off the crossbar a minute before time.
