The Ospreys continued their Celtic League revival with a comeback Celtic League win over the high-flying Dragons at St Helen's.

The home side trailed 11-8 at the break after Nathan Bonner-Evans and Ben Breeze had each recorded tries.

A forward rumble led to Bonner-Evans' second try early in the second half and Gavin Henson added 11 points to seal the Ospreys' third win in four games.

As Ulster lost in Glasgow, the Dragons missed their chance to top the table.

Early charges by Peter Sidoli and Bobby Skinstad, the latter making his full debut, allowed Percy Montgomery to open the scoring with a second-minute penalty for the Dragons.

Henson levelled soon after with a monster 40m effort into the wind.

The Dragons' pressure mounted, but Montgomery and Craig Warlow both missed drop-goal attempts.

On their first venture to the visitors' 22 the Ospreys got over the line, number eight Bonner-Evans supporting a Steve Tandy break from a line-out.

The score was soon cancelled out by Breeze's try, and just before the break Montgomery's second penalty edged the visitors in front.

Bonner-Evans' second try gave the home team the upper hand, though, reinforced when Henson landed another mammoth kick from 50m.

Montgomery's third kick made it 16-14, but Henson added another penalty before Dave Tiueti went under the posts for his side's third and final try.

  • Wales prop Duncan Jones left the game early with a hand injury and he will undergo a precautionary x-ray.
