Scotland lost to France in their recent Six Nations clash in Paris
|
Scotland will host France at Murrayfield in their opening fixture of the 2010 Six Nations campaign.
The Scots face the French on Sunday 7 February and take on Wales at the Millennium Stadium six days later.
They are then away to Italy on 27 February and take on England at Murrayfield on 13 March, before facing champions Ireland seven days later.
The side will have a new head coach by then after Frank Hadden stepped down on Thursday after four years in the job.
In the last Six Nations campaign Scotland ended up with just one victory for the third successive year.
Former Edinburgh coach Hadden was given the Scotland job in September 2005 and enjoyed success in his first Six Nations, with three victories.
However, the 2007 and 2008 campaigns were disappointing, yielding just one victory from five outings each time.
And he failed to meet the SRU's minimum target of two Six Nations victories per season in last season's campaign.
Scotland's 2010 Six Nations fixtures:
Scotland v France, Sunday 7 February, Murrayfield
Wales v Scotland, Saturday 13 February, Millennium Stadium
Italy v Scotland, Saturday 27 February, Stadio Flaminio
Scotland v England, Saturday 13 March, Murrayfield
