Clockwatch: Argentina 67-14 Namibia

80 mins: Referee Williams blows the final whistle and Argentina go to the top of the pool.

78 mins: Gaitan races onto a Quesada grubber kick for Argentina's 10th try and his third. Quesada surprisingly misses with the conversion attempt.
Argentina 67-14 Namibia

71 mins: Argentina respond with a try, a second from Bouza in identical fashion to his first. He picks up from the base of a pushover, but is a lucky chap as he clearly knocked it on. Quesada lands another kick from the touchline.
Argentina 62-14 Namibia

68 mins: Namibia's hard graft for a try pays off with Husselman ducking through some tackles for a deserved touchdown. Wessels adds the two points.
Argentina 55-14 Namibia

65 mins: Namibia bring on some fresh legs and string tgether some more good possesion that results in a penalty. Wessels kicks for the corner.

62 mins: Namibia win the ball at the scrum but are on the retreat in the backs and turnover the ball.

59 mins: The Pumas pounce on a Namibian mistake and a quick tap penalty releases stand-in skipper Nicolas Fernandez Miranda for a score. Quesada makes no mistake with the kick.
Argentina 55-7 Namibia

57 mins: Namibia string together 15 phases by keeping the ball close to the breakdown. They finally run out of steam deep in Argentine territory.

54 mins: Gaitan crosses for his second score after quick hands on the blindside. Quesada fies in another conversion from the touchline.
Argentina 48-7 Namibia

51 mins: Another attempted Argentine pushover results in another penalty try. Quesada makes it seven points with the conversion.
Argentina 41-7 Namibia

48 mins: Play switches to the other wing with a cross-field kick. Two players jump for the same cross-field kick and they only succeed in getting in the way of each other.

47 mins: Schalk van der Merwe makes a try-saving tackle on the touchline.

45 mins: Gaitan gets the first try of the second half as Argentina capitalise on a big overlap on the left-hand side. Quesada had a slow start to the night with the boot, but he slots a great effort from the touchline.
Argentina 34-7 Namibia

1135 BST: The players are back out. Namibia may have gone in buoyed by their try, but they could be in for a long half.

Felipe Contepomi comes on for Juan Fernandez Miranda in the centres.

40 mins: With the Gosford crowd still celebrating the score, referee Williams whistles for half-time.

39 mins: Namibia score from their first attack. Good continuity gives Du Preez Grobler the chance to show some fancy footwork, and after throwing a dummy the centre scores in the tackle. Wessels adds the conversion.
Argentina 27-7 Namibia

37 mins: Namibia pounce on an Argentine error on halfway and make a rare foray in to the other half with Hakkies Husselman to the fore.

34 mins: The Argentine pack go for a pushover try again. The scrum collapses and referee Nigel Williams awards a penalty try. The Pumas have the bonus point in the bag and Quesada slots the extras.
Argentina 27-0 Namibia

33 mins: A poor man's version of France's wonder try at Twickenham nearly ends in a score. Martin Gaitan collects an infield cross-kick from the touchline but is held up over the line.

31 mins: The backs are on the scoreboard. Quesada spots a gap, draws the defence and slips the ball to Juan Fernandez Miranda in the tackle for a simple touch down. Quesada adds the two points.
Argentina 20-0 Namibia

27 mins: Quesada, probably frustrated by the profligacy with the ball in hand goes for goal and lands his first kick of the night, a penalty.
Argentina 13-0 Namibia

26 mins: Juan Martin Hernandez slips with a man outside and the Namibian defence stretched. Another chance goes begging.

24 mins: Argentina miss out again when they dawdle in the backs and Namibia's cover defence ushers them in to touch.

21 mins: Argentine ill-discipline is costing them dear near the Namibian line. The African minnows again clear their lines, but like a boomerang, Argentina will be back.

19 mins: Argentina finally get across the line. The forwards drive over from five metres out and number eight Pablo Bouza picks up and touches down. Quesada misses again, hitting the upright.
Argentina 10-0 Namibia

16 mins: With the try-line beckoning and an overlap out wide, a rogue Namibian hand this time stops Argentina from adding a second score.

14 mins: The Pumas waste another good scoring opportunity after six phases of possession and Namibia clear their lines.

12 mins: Namibia respond in style with a rolling maul of their own over halfway and win a penalty which they kick to the corner.

11 mins: Argentina give away a penalty as they bear down on the Namibian line with a rolling maul.

8 mins: Namibia are giving it a go, trying to run from deep, but Argentina look to be playing within themselves.

4 mins: A move straight from the training paddock gives Argentina the first score of the night. A catch and drive at the line-out sets up Federico Mendez, standing off on the blind-side, for the simplest of run-ins. Gonzalo Quesada misses the conversion from the touchline.
Argentina 5-0 Namibia

2 mins: Namibia have been slowly and steadily pushed back all the way up the pitch having kicked off deep into Pumas territory.

1037 BST: Wessels, a late replacement at fly-half, gets the game underway under the lights.

1030 BST: The teams run out for the pre-match formalities.

Argentina have made 14 changes from the team that lost to Australia on Friday.

Diego Albanese is the only man to keep his starting spot.

Namibia make their tournament bow, but their preparations were hit by the late withdrawal of Rudi van Vuuren.

The fly-half has a calf injury and has been replaced by Emile Wessels, with Neil Swanepoel coming onto the bench.
