Little believes there is real excitement within the club

Worcester Warriors general manager Charlie Little says supporters are rallying round the club despite the harsh economic times. The Sixways club have sold more than 4,500 season tickets for the new season which starts in September. The figure is on a par with last year. Little told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "It is a great achievement given the current economic environment. "This really shows the desire to witness success." Little added: "We have been delighted with the commitment alre ady shown by our supporters in signing up for season tickets. "Season ticket and debenture holders remain the most crucial part of the club and our fans have once again shown this summer why they are regarded as some of the best in the Premiership. "There is a real excitement around the club with the squad back in pre-season training. "It is great to see players like Chris Latham and Rico Gear back and raring to get stuck into the new season. "We can look forward to the likes of Sam Tuitupou and Willie Walker linking up together for the first time on the field."
