Clinton Schifcofske is suffering from an ankle injury
Ulster could be without three front-liners for Friday's Magners League visit of the Dragons to Ravenhill (1905 BST).
In-form full-back Clinton Schifcofske (ankle), international Paddy Wallace (leg) and flanker David Pollock (shoulder) are all major doubts.
The trio were injured in the one-point defeat by the Blues last Friday, a lose which annoyed coach Matt Williams.
"It was such an immature last few minutes by us," said Williams.
"We played great rugby in the first half, our defence was very good again. But then once again dumb penalties and a young team were to cost us.
"We should just have kicked the living tripe off that ball and put it in their end of the park and we would have won the game," said Williams of the 16-15 reverse.
Williams will assess the injuries on Monday and it looks certain he will be without the trio, Ulster can call on Thomas Anderson and possibly Ireland flanker Stephen Ferris who is due to return to action.
Italian lock Carlos del Fava is also due to return after a "stinger" as Ulster search for their first victory of the season.
