Malone cruised into the quarter-finals of the AIB Cup following a 37-3 victory over a weakened Bruff at Gibson Park.
Malone travel to face Division One side Galwegians in the quarter-final after victory in their re-arranged third round tie over the Munster side.
Malone could now be asked to travel to Galway on the weekend of Feb 23/24.
In the other third round game St Mary's beat Clonakilty 37-7 while Clontarf and Blackrock are through to the last four after wins over Garryowen and UCD.
