Saracens have signed Pacific Islands and Samoa international prop Kas Lealamanua on a permanent contract.

The 32-year-old former Biarritz, Dax and Wellington front row enjoyed a successful pre-season trial period with the London club.

Saracens director of rugby Brendan Venter said: "Kas has played at the top level for many years.

"After the inception of the 23rd man in matchday squads we have been looking to strengthen with another prop."

Lealamanua featured in warm-up games against Agen, London Welsh and Nottingham and was part of the Samoan squad that played in the 2007 World Cup.
