Munster's Tom Gleeson has his run halted in the game against Treviso
|
A late revival by Munster was not enough as they fell to a one-point defeat away to Treviso on Sunday. Gonzalo Padro's converted try and three penalties by South African fly-half Willem De Waal had the Italian club 16-3 up at one stage. Doug Howlett and James Coughlan got tries as Munster came fighting back but De Waal added his fourth penalty to quell the Irish province's fight back. Scarlets, Connacht and the Dragons had already lost at Treviso this season.
