Wasps have continued their rebuilding for next season by signing scrum-half Nic Berry from Racing Metro 92.

The 26-year-old former Australian U21 international made 18 appearances for Racing this term including two against Wasps in the Amlin Challenge Cup.

"He adds depth to our options and he'll be a valuable asset to the squad," said director of rugby Tony Hanks.

"He has played a major role in Racing's success as they have become established as a leading side in France."

Berry played for Australia at the IRB U21 world championships in 2005 and has also played for the Queensland Reds.

"I have really enjoyed my time in France to date, but the chance to discover a new city and a very competitive Premiership was too good to turn down," he said.
