Wasps 17-20 Scarlets

Scarlets game-breaker Ceiron Thomas
Thomas missed a last-minute penalty before his drop goal

An injury time drop-goal from Ceiron Thomas gave the Scarlets a morale-boosting friendly win over Guinness Premiership champs Wasps at Adams Park.

Three Mark van Gisbergen kicks against one from Stephen Jones put Wasps ahead.

Eoin Reddan sniped over from a scrum after Dafydd Jones was sin-binned, Mark Jones replying for the visitors when Simon Easterby ran a penalty.

Penalties from Stephen Jones and Thomas levelled the game, the latter missing a late kick before his drop-goal glory.

New Australian number eight David Lyons was an imposing figure for the Scarlets, who also benefited from a powerful scrummaging display.
