Seilala Mapusua's London Irish future remains uncertain
Mapusua has been capped 17 times by Samoa
London Irish centre Seilala Mapusua says he is facing 'big choices' about his future career.
The Samoa international is yet to sign a new deal at Irish, with clubs in France and Japan reportedly interested.
Mapusua told BBC Berkshire: "It's weighing up the balance between lifestyle and financial gains - we've been really happy here.
"I've got some big choices to make but I'm confident that it'll be the best for me and my family."
Mapusua joined London Irish from New Zealand Super Rugby side Otago Highlanders in 2006.
"We're still going through the process at the moment - it's never an easy time for the player or the club," he said.
"We're still working through it with my family and also with the club, so hopefully we can make a decision some time in the near future, but at the moment the primary focus is on trying to get out of this slump [of results]."
