Harlequins props James Johnston and Joe Marler have agreed new deals with the Premiership club.

Samoa international Johnston, 24, who joined Harlequins from New Zealand side Ponsonby in 2009, will stay until 2013.

Marler has extended his contract by two years, meaning he will remain at The Stoop until 2014.

The 20-year-old joined the Quins academy in 2008 and played for England Under-18s and Under-20s before making his first-team debut in April 2010.

Johnston, 24, who has made 31 appearances for Harlequins said: "I want to keep pushing for a starting spot in the match-day squad."
