Blues suffer Spice injury blow

Jason Spice recieves treatment at Twickenham
Jason Spice joined Cardiff Blues from the Ospreys in the summer of 2007

Jason Spice has played his final game for Cardiff Blues as the Kiwi scrum-half will miss the rest of the season with a broken arm.

Spice was injured in the second minute of their EDF Energy Cup final with Gloucester at Twickenham on Saturday.

The 34-year-old, who will leave the Arms Park for Bristol in the summer, is now out of the Blues' Heineken Cup semi-final clash with Leicester Tigers.

Richie Rees, who replaced Spice in the final, is ready to step up in Europe.
