Bristol's Redford Pennycook plans to be part of the club's first-team squad next season.
The 22-year-old back-row forward made his full Premiership debut in the final game of last season at Saracens.
Pennycook is behind Dan Ward-Smith, Joe El-Abd, Matt Salter, Andrew Blowers and Alfie To'oala in the pecking order but is determined to make an impression.
Pennycook said: "I want to ensure none of the back-row forwards get an easy ride. I'm not going to let them rest."

He added: "All the back-rowers are good players. Joe El-Abd is the captain and is a good leader and deserves the captaincy.
"Matt Salter has stepped down as skipper but is still in good nick and Dan Ward-Smith is in the best shape I have ever seen him.
"It all means I have got to work harder. When I get my chance I will have to take it."
Bristol start their Premiership season with a home game against Bath on Sunday, 7 September.
