Bath fly-half Butch James is eager to put an end to weeks on the sidelines and make his first-team comeback on Tuesday against Leicester Tigers.
"I've been looking forward to playing again and it's been ten weeks now. You always want to be on the field," said the South African.
The 29-year-old is hoping he has fully recovered from his dislocated shoulder.
"I wouldn't say it's as good as new but it's close to 100% and strong enough to play," he said.
James has kept himself busy during his lay-off, but after trying his hand at a spot of punditry for BBC Radio Bristol he says he is not planning to give up his day job.
"I prefer just watching the game and being able to shout and swear and do your thing and not have to watch what you say on the radio," he said.
"It was good fun for the one game that I did it, but I think I'd rather watch it by myself."
