No exodus at Bath, insists Meehan

Bath head coach Steve Meehan believes Steve Borthwick's decision to join Saracens at the end of the season will not spark an exodus from The Rec.

Fellow England stars Matt Stevens and Olly Barkley are also out of contract in the summer, but Meehan is confident they will not follow Borthwick's lead.

He told BBC Radio Bristol: "I hope they will be stronger than that and won't be influenced by one person's decision.

"My opinion is that they will make up their own minds and be their own men."

Meehan added: "Bath have always committed to spending every penny in the salary cap and will continue to do that."
