Ireland A make changes for Pumas

Darren Cave
Darren Cave will start for Ireland A on Saturday

Ireland A coach Allen Clarke has made five changes to his side for Saturday's Barclays Churchill Cup Plate final against Argentina Pumas in Chicago.

Mark McCrea returns on the wing while Darren Cave and Frank Murphy are handed their first starts of the tournament.

In the forwards, Denis Fogarty returns to the number two shirt and flanker Johnny O'Connor returns at number seven in place of Ulster's David Pollock.

Gary Brown, Kieran Lewis, Sean Cronin and Tomas O'Leary also drop out.

Ireland A beat the USA 46-9 in their first Churchill Cup game but then lost 34-12 to England Saxons last week.

Ireland A: D Hurley; M McCrea, D Cave, K Earls, B Tuohy; J Sexton, F Murphy; C Healy, D Fogarty, M Ross; D Ryan, B Casey (c); N Best, J O'Connor, R Wilson.
Replacements: T Court, S Cronin, T Hogan, D Pollock, P Marshall, I Keatley, F McFadden.
