Ireland A enjoyed a comfortable 46-9 win over USA Eagles in their opening Churchill Cup game on Wednesday night.
Ireland only led 12-9 early in the second half but gradually extended their lead in Kingston.
The Irish try-scorers were Kieran Lewis, a penalty try, Neil Best (2), Frank Murphy, Mark McCrea and Denis Hurley.
Jonathan Sexton kicked a penalty and a conversion while Ian Keatley landed three conversions.
Mike Hercus kicked three penalties for the USA.
Allen Clarke's side now face England Saxons on Saturday 14 June, and then play as yet unknown opposition on finals day on 21 June.
