Leinster's Luke Fitzgerald will play at centre for Ireland

Leinster pair Luke Fitzgerald and Brian O'Driscoll will form a new partnership at centre when Ireland play the Barbarians at Kingsholm on Tuesday.

In the forwards, Bob Casey returns to the second row alongside the experienced Malcolm O'Kelly.

Harlequins prop Mike Ross will make his senior Ireland debut.

Ireland, under stand-in coach Michael Bradley, are using the non-cap match as a warm-up ahead of the summer tour to Australia and New Zealand.

Four uncapped players - Tom Court, Ryan Caldwell, Jonathon Sexton and Frank Murphy - are named on the replacements' bench.

"The game will be important for the players to get up to a good pace of play before we arrive in New Zealand and also for the Churchill Cup players in the match squad ahead of their tour," said Bradley.

"Overall, the array of talent that the Barbarians will have on show is of the highest calibre, so it will be good test for us , but I think we can get an awful lot out of the game ahead of the tour."
