Ulster second row forward Rowan Frost has been banned for two months, subject to appeal, after being found guilty of an anti-doping violation.
The Irish Sport Anti-Doping Disciplinary Panel said that traces of a prohibited substance, cannabis, had been found in Frost's urine sample.
The offence was detected during in- competition testing at the Leinster v Ulster Celtic League game on 1 October.
Frost's ban took effect from 19 October and he has 14 days to appeal.
At a hearing, the disciplinary panel "severely reprimanded and warned" the Kiwi.
The ban will rule Frost out of the Heineken Cup games against Saracens on 9 December and 17 December.
