Leinster suffered from a European hangover as they were beaten by Celtic League strugglers Borders.

The hosts made most of the running in the first half, but were made to wait until stoppage time before the break before getting their first try.

Chris Cusiter did the initial damage, before John Dalziel acted as the link for flanker Andy Miller to flop over.

Without many of their stars, Leinster hung in there, but were too far adrift when Brian O'Riordan touched down.
