Departing Ulster coach Alan Solomons received the perfect send off when he was named as the province's Guinness Rugby Personality of the Year.
Solomons received his award at the annual Ulster Rugby awards night in Belfast on Thursday.
Roger Wilson took player of the year while Andy Ward was the fans' choice.
The evening also had poignancy with the schools' award going to John McCall who died tragically while in action with Ireland at the U19 World Cup in March.
His award was accepted by his father Ian while John's mentor at Royal School Armagh, Kenny Hooks, was named coach of the year.
Belfast Harlequins' good run in the AIB League and Ulster League triumph helped them claim the club of the year honour. Quins' second XV colected the team of the year.
Other award winners were Banbridge scrum-half Neville Farr (youth player), Ravenhill ground staff Bob Montgomery and Brian Elliott (merit award), Ballynahinch's PRO John Dickson (media liaison) and referee Brian Banks (Dorrington B Faulkner award).
