D'Arcy and Bowe win awards

D'Arcy was also named Six Nations player of the championship
Gordon D'Arcy has been voted Irish players' player of the year.

D'Arcy, who was named RBS Six Nations Player of the Championship, took the Irish Rugby Players award ahead of Paul O'Connell and Simon Easterby.

Ulster's Tommy Bowe earned the young player of the year award while Paddy Johns and Keith Wood were inducted into the players' body's hall of fame.

Girvan Dempsey's score against England was named try of the year while Mike Mullins won the unsung hero award.

D'Arcy described the award as a "great honour".

"This is the ultimate rugby award and something I will treasure for the rest of my career," he said.
