A late try by Huw Jones gave AIB All-Ireland League leaders Ballymena a late 24-24 draw against Dolphin.
Although full-back Dirkie Strydom set Ballymena on their way with an early penalty, they soon found themselves 14-3 down after tries by Shane Madigan and Conor Twomey, converted by John O'Mahony.
But Irish World Cup squad member Paddy Wallace, back again after his involvement down under brought his side back into it with a try and conversion on 34 minutes.
Dolphin began the second half strongly with 10 unanswered points - a drop goal by O'Mahony and a Twomey try to put them 24-10.
But the unbeaten Ulstermen fought back with centre Andrew Trimble finding space for a try converted by Wallace.
Jones spoiled the Dolphin party in injury time with a precious try which Wallace converted to keep his side at the top of the table.
Elsewhere, Belfast Harlequins recorded a comprehensive 31-17 win over Lansdowne.
Early tries by Chris McCarey and wing Andy Park, with the second converted by full back Willem Slabbert put them 12-3 in front midway through the first half.
Scrum-half Reece Spee went over twice in the second half while prop Jarlath Carey also got in on the act.
