Ndungane & Spies handed SA debuts
Akona Ndungane
Bulls wing Akona Ndungane's twin brother Odwa is a Sharks winger
South Africa winger Akona Ndungane and forward Pierre Spies will make their Test debuts in Saturday's Tri-Nations match against Australia in Brisbane.

Ndungane will partner Bryan Habana on the wing, with Spies forming a new back-row combination alongside Juan Smith and Joe van Niekerk.

Hooker John Smit captains the Springboks for the 29th time.

New Zealand beat Australia 32-12 in the 2006 Tri-Nations' opening match in Christchurch on Saturday.


South Africa: Montgomery; Ndungane, Fourie, Olivier, Habana; Van der Westhuyzen, Januarie; Os du Randt, Smit, CJ van der Linde; Matfield, Rossouw; Van Niekerk, Smith, Spies.
Replacements: Coetzee, Andrews, Van der Berg, Cronje, Du Preez, Bosman, Paulse.
