Scotland have called up Murrayfield Wanderers centre Claire Cruikshank to replace Mary Pat Tierney in their squad for the Women's Rugby World Cup.
Tierney was forced to withdraw with a neck injury, which will not recover sufficiently for the tournament in Edmonton, Canada, starting 29 August.
Scrum-half Rachael Nicholson is the only uncapped player in the squad.
The world's most capped woman, Donna Kennedy also features in the party captained by Paula Chalmers.
The squad has been undergoing fitness and conditioning sessions throughout July before meeting for team building and coaching on the weekend of 4/5 August.
They will play a warm-up match against Ireland at Currie RFC on 13 August before their opening World Cup match against Spain on 31 August.
Kazakhstan and reigning champions New Zealand make up Scotland's group.
The Scots will also have a woman on their coaching staff for the first time after SWRU Performance Development Manager Jo Hull was made assistant coach alongside Gil Stevenson and Andy Henderson until the end of the World Cup.
She is due to complete her level three coaching qualification in October and will help develop players' individual skills.
