Worcester's Kai Horstmann has replaced James Forrester in the England Saxons squad for the Churchill Cup.
Forrester has been struggling with a sprained shoulder for three weeks
The Gloucester man played in the 46-19 win against the Barbarians but misses the tour because of a shoulder injury.
Worcester flanker Horstmann said: "It's been a bit of a rush getting ready but I'm really looking forward to it.
"I've had to cancel a couple of holidays - one to Las Vegas with some mates and the other to Majorca with the girlfriend. We'll go when I get back."
Horstmanm's Worcester team-mate Shane Drahm has had to pull out of the squad with a knee injury, however.
The Australian-born fly-half will be replaced by former Newcastle fly-half Dave Walder, who has just been released by the Falcons despite being on the England bench for their last Six Nations match with Ireland.
"It is disappointing to lose Shane because he would have made a valuable contribution," said England Saxons head coach Jon Callard.
"But Dave is an experienced player who has played in two Churchill Cups (2003 and 2004) before."
Wasps wing Paul Sackey will join the squad in Toronto if he recovers from a toe injury.
