Clockwatch: France 37-12 Italy
All the action as France take on Italy at the Stade de France in the Six Nations.

80 mins: TRY France 37-12 Italy
Michalak dances through a fragmented Italy defence for France's fifth try. Yachvili converts to give the final scoreline a healthy look but the French will know that they were far from impressive for three-quarters of the match.

77 mins: TRY France 30-12 Italy
France run in their fourth try as thrusts by Castaignede and then Dominici create the space for Rougerie to cross in the corner. Yachvili converts from out wide.

71 mins: France are pinning Italy back deep in their own half and the hosts look set to claim victory. They come close to a third try as Castaignede, who has been one of France's better players, skates down the touchline before being bundled into touch.

65 mins: TRY France 23-12 Italy
From the scrum France launch another driving maul and this time the referee has a clear view of Pieter de Villiers as the French prop grounds the ball.

63 mins: The French forwards are starting to get a grip on the game and they force another penalty, with Carlo del Fava being sin-binned for Italy. France kick to the corner and launch a rumbling maul which powers over the line.

Neither the referee nor the television match official can see whether the hosts managed to get the ball down and France are awarded a five-metre scrum.

60 mins: Yachvili misses a long-range penalty which would have given France a seven-point lead.

55 mins: TRY France 16-12 Italy
Saracens full-back Castaignede counter-attacks from halfway. He slices through the Italian defence before drawing the full-back and sending rangy flanker Yannick Nyanga over in the corner for a try. Yachvili cannot land the conversion.

52 mins: France lose influential centre Damien Traille, with David Marty coming on in his place. The game is still very scrappy and France look well short of their best.

50 mins: Italy break up a French attack and when they kick the ball downfield France full-back Thomas Castaignede holds onto the ball and concedes a penalty. Pez steps up but pulls his kick to the right of the posts.

47 mins: France are awarded another penalty, out near the touchline, but Yachvili's kick hits the post.

44 mins: PENALTY France 11-12 Italy
France launch a surging attack, forcing Italy to fall offside in midfield. Replacement scrum-half Dimitri Yachvili, on for the groggy Elissalde, makes no mistake with the kick to cut the gap to one point.

42 mins: France are given an early penalty but astonishingly they twice kick it dead as they try for touch in the corner.

41 mins: France fly-half Frederic Michalak, who did not play well in the first half, re-starts the game with a hanging kick.

40 mins: A scrappy half ends with Italy holding a hard-earned four-point lead over hosts and strong pre-match favourites France.

39 mins: France lose scrum-half Elissalde for stitches after he suffers a blow to the head.

32 mins: DROP GOAL France 8-12 Italy
Italy make ground through a Cristian Stoica burst and when the ball comes back to Pez the Italian fly-half slots a long-range drop goal.

30 mins: Sergio Parisse is bundled into touch inside the French 22 as the Italian visitors continue to put pressure on the hosts.

24 mins: TRY France 8-9 Italy
France finally come to life and Thomas Lievremont scores from Elissalde's cross-kick after a searing counter attack by Florian Fritz from a quick throw. Elissalde cannot land the conversion from out near the right touchline.

22 mins: PENALTY France 3-9 Italy
Italy are awarded another penalty, prompting a storm of boos from the French fans. Pez steps up to nudge Italy further ahead.

20 mins: With the match quarter of the way through it is Italy who will be much the happier side. They are pinning France back in their half and the home supporters, who are notorious for turning against their team if things don't go well, are showing signs of frustration.

16 mins: PENALTY France 3-6 Italy
France flanker Olivier Magne infringes and Pez makes no mistake to edge Italy into the lead.

10 mins: Italian scrum-half Griffen returns to the scene swathed in a head bandage after his earlier blow to the head.

8 mins: PENALTY France 3-3 Italy
Italy earn a penalty and Ramiro Pez makes no mistake to level the scores.

5 mins: Veteran France winger Christophe Dominci launches a thrilling counter-attack and kicks ahead, forcing Italy to scramble back and concede a 22 drop out.

2 mins: PENALTY France 3-0 Italy
France win a penalty for a high tackle in their first attack and Jean-Baptiste Elissalde slots the kick. Italy are forced to bring on their replacement scrum-half as Paul Griffen requires attention to a cut near his eye.

1 min: Italy kick off and France winger Aurelien Rougerie clears towards halfway.
