All the action as England took on Scotland at Twickenham.

Full-time: England retain the Calcutta Cup with a solid defeat over Scotland and they bring the Six Nations to a close in entertaining fashion at Twickenham.

79 mins: Noon comes close to grabbing his fourth try but he does not quite touch down as the ball is scooped away.

75 mins: Andy Goode replaces Charlie Hodgson at fly-half for England.

74 mins: Sean Lamont uses his pace to escape down the left wing but he is tackled by Cueto and his run comes to nothing.

71 mins: TRY England 43-22 Scotland Barkley breaks through to get around the Scotland defence and Mark Cueto finishes the move to power over for his fourth try in two matches. Hodgson again has to try and convert from a narrow angle but slices his effort wide.

67 mins: TRY England 38-22 Scotland England methodically work their way towards Scotland's try-line and Noon nips over to seal his hat-trick. Hodgson misses the conversion again as the ball is carried away on the breeze.

63 mins: A lull has descended over Twickenham and Leicester's Harry Ellis is replaced by the experienced Matt Dawson.

55 mins: Rory Lamont misses a chance to hand Scotland an easy touch down but he hangs onto the ball instead of passing it to the waiting Paterson and Josh Lewsey pushes him out into touch.

51 mins: TRY England 33-22 Scotland The match has really opened up as Simon Taylor is allowed to gallop down the pitch and thunder over England's try-line. Paterson is not so lucky with the conversion as his kick slides to the right.

47 mins: TRY England 33-17 Scotland Andy Robinson's men respond immediately as Harry Ellis surges down the left wing to grab his first try for England. Hodgson looks more confident as he converts.

45 mins: TRY England 26-17 Scotland Andy Craig gets on the end of a wonderful move to put Scotland right back in contention. Paterson kicked the ball forward and Scotland link together the passes to put Craig over. Paterson adds the extras.

43 mins: Hodgson concedes a scrum to Scotland after he fails to take a catch cleanly.

41 mins: Hodgson kicks off for England, who have lost a third player to injury. Lewis Moody has a hip injury is replaced by flanker Andy Hazell.

Half-time: England 26-10 Scotland

39 mins: TRY England 26-10 Scotland Scotland steal back some points on the stroke of half-time as Sean Lamont goes over after some good build-up play. Paterson converts to give Scotland some hope of a way back into the match.

37mins: England are controlling the tempo of the match at Twickenham, using their width well. This time Ollie Smith powers down the left wing on a promising run but he is closed down by Scotland.

33 mins: TRY England 26-3 Scotland England conjure another try from the lineout as Cueto again turns provider putting Josh Lewsey through to score in the left-hand corner. Hodgson is back on form, adding the extras.

32 mins: There seem to be more injuries than action as Scotland's Scott Murray limps off and is replaced by Stuart Grimes.

31 mins: Ollie Smith replaces Leeds full-back Iain Balshaw, who is taken off the field on a stretcher after appearing to have damaged his left leg. Meanwhile, Ben Kay sits on the sidelines now nursing a badly-strained ankle.

24 mins: TRY England 19-3 Scotland Joe Worsley picks up a pass from Mark Cueto to reach over the line and touch down in the corner but Hodgson's conversion attempt swerves wide.

22 mins: TRY England 14-3 Scotland Noon bursts through a gap in the Scottish defence, powers through an attempted tackle by Paterson for a fine, individual try. Hodgson converts to stretch England's lead once more. Meanwhile, Bruce Douglas replaces Tom Smith for Scotland.

20 mins: PENALTY England 7-3 Scotland Paterson makes no mistake this time as he slots the ball over to get some points on the board.

17 mins: Paterson misses a kickable penalty for Scotland after Martin Corry was judged not to have stayed on his feet.

15 mins: CONVERSION England 7-0 Scotland There is a delay before Hodgson is able to convert Noon's try as Ben Kay receives treatment for an injury and is eventually replaced by Steve Borthwick.

13 mins: TRY England 5-0 Scotland Hodgson makes amends as he puts through Jamie Noon, who runs through unchallenged to touch down under the posts.

11 mins: Charlie Hodgson misses a relatively simple penalty kick and a chance to put England ahead at a tight affair at Twickenham.

8 mins: Ben Kay leaps to win another lineout but the Scotland defence roll back Andy Robinson's side. And then Chris Paterson goes on a weaving run for Scotland on the counter attack but his effort is blocked as he tries to hand off to Mike Blair.

4 mins: England have made a positive start in the set-pieces, winning two lineouts and rolling the scrum forward.

2 mins: Scotland string together a nice move but Rory Lamont's forward run is blocked by Mark Cueto.

1802 GMT: Gordon Ross kicks off for Scotland.

1800 GMT: The teams sing their respective national anthems as expectation builds ahead of the Calcutta Cup encounter.

1758 GMT: A minute's silence is observed for former Scotland and Lions captain Mike Campbell-Lamerton, who died on Friday.

1755 GMT: Gordon Bulloch leads his Scotland team out into the packed Twickenham arena for the final match of the Six Nations. Martin Corry then brings out his England team to rousing cheers.

1740 GMT: England are forced to make a late change after Graham Rowntree withdrew with a pulled thigh.

Duncan Bell is handed his first Test start in place of Rowntree while Matt Stevens moves across to the front row. Harlequins prop Mike Worsley is called up onto the bench.

Scotland also make changes with Gordon Ross coming in at fly-half for Dan Parks, flanker Jason White returns from injury and Mike Blair (scrum-half) and Nathan Hines (lock) return.
