State of play in 2005 Six Nations
Olivier Magne celebrates France's 2004 Six Nations victory
Who will succeed France as Six Nations champions?
The following scenarios are still possible after France's win over Italy:

If Wales beat Ireland then Wales win the Grand Slam. If it's a draw or Ireland win by less than 10 points, Wales still win the Six Nations.

If Ireland beat Wales by 10 points then France and Wales are level on points difference; if Ireland win by 11 to 14 points, France are champions.

If Ireland beat Wales by 15 points, they are level with France; by 16 or more and Ireland are champions.
