Grayson back for England
Paul Grayson in action for England
Grayson will bring plenty of experience to the England team
England have recalled Paul Grayson and Joe Worsley for the Six Nations game against France on Saturday.

Grayson replaces Olly Barkley, who does not even make the bench despite a starring role in the win over Wales.

England coach Sir Clive Woodward said Grayson's greater experience ensured his selection ahead of Barkley.

Woodward said: "It was a close call but we've gone back to the starting line-up we had pre-Wales. I wanted the more experienced player for France."

SIX NATIONS TITLE RACE
France: Victory over England wins Grand Slam, loss by less than 7 pts could still win title
England: Assuming Ireland do not win by 50 pts, need a minimum 7 pt win over France
Ireland: Need a minimum 50 pt win over Scotland and England to beat France
TIE: In the event of a tie on pts and pts difference, title decided on aggregate tries

Worsley, who scored England's final try after coming on as a replacement in the 31-21 win last weekend, replaces Chris Jones, who has a wrist injury.

Flanker Martin Corry makes the squad for the first time since the World Cup.

Despite their status as world champions England will go into the match as underdogs.

France have home advantage and are chasing the Grand Slam but England, despite their defeat by Ireland, can still win the championship.

In order to do so they have to beat France by a minimum of seven points and hope that Ireland do not run up a cricket score against Scotland.

One mooted change has not been made, with Gloucester prop Phil Vickery retaining his place ahead of Julian White.

Woodward defended his decision to stick with Vickery despite White's impressive destruction of the Welsh scrum when he came off the bench last Saturday.

"I'm delighted White is back with us but we'll start with the same front row," Woodward said.

"This game will be won by 22 players - it will be a real squad effort. We know what we have to do tactically so players like Julian and Mike Catt will be used at some point."

England: J Robinson (Sale); J Lewsey (Wasps), W Greenwood (Harlequins), M Tindall (Bath), B Cohen (Northampton); P Grayson (Northampton), M Dawson (Northampton); T Woodman (Gloucester), S Thompson (Northampton), P Vickery (Gloucester), D Grewcock (Bath), B Kay (Leicester), J Worsley (Wasps), R Hill (Saracens), L Dallaglio (Wasps, capt).
