Krige in the spotlight
![]() England were left bloodied after Saturday's Test
Springboks skipper Corne Krige has been highlighted as a major offender in the violence which scarred last weekend's brutal Test match between England and South Africa.
Images from Sky Sports' The Rugby Club apparently show Krige as one of the ringleaders as South Africa repeatedly targeted England players. Krige, the 31 times-capped skipper, appears to punch Jason Robinson and Jonny Wilkinson, butt Matt Dawson, shoulder-charge Mike Tindall, and use studs on Phil Vickery. He is also shown teaming up with Werner Greeff for a remarkable five-second rampage. The South African duo appear to take out Dawson, Vickery and Lawrence Dallaglio - plus their own team-mate Andre Pretorius. Greeff, cited for a dangerous tackle on England's Phil Christophers, is seen using a knee on Dallaglio and substitute scrum-half Andy Gomarsall. And Springboks centre Robbie Fleck is shown punching Ben Cohen.
