Leinster secured their first win of the Heineken Cup campaign with a 13-point success against Glasgow at Hughenden.

Tries from Kieran Lewis, Ciaran Potts, Felipe Contepomi and Gordon D'Arcy secured Leinster's bonus point.

Fly-half Contepomi, who scored all 19 points in the defeat to Bath, kicked three penalties and two conversions to be named man of the match.

Graeme Morrison scored two tries for Glasgow with his centre partner Andy Henderson getting the third.

The Scottish side would have been a lot closer if skipper Dan Parks had been in kicking form.

The Scotland stand-off squandered 16 points worth of goal attempts to hand Leinster the clear-cut victory they needed to keep alive their quest to reach the quarter-finals.

With a penalty apiece on the board, Leinster got the opening try, working the ball quickly for winger Lewis to cruise over unopposed at the corner.

The Warriors hit back as scrum-half Graeme Beveridge flipped the ball wide for centre Morrison - making his first start of the season - to brush off two challenges and reach the line.

Contepomi banged over another penalty from close to halfway to edge Leinster back in front and just before the break Potts plunged over for a try at the end of an expertly controlled rolling maul.

Rattled Glasgow came out with all guns blazing at the restart and were rewarded when Morrison hurtled through for his second try.

But a Contepomi penalty put the Irish province back in the driving seat with a six-point cushion.

D'Arcy made sure of the bonus point with a chip-and-catch try with Henderson clawing back a consolation touchdown for the shellshocked Warriors.
