Vincent Clerc set up Nicholas Jean-Jean for the visitors' first try but after Dan Parks replied with a penalty, Gregor Lamboley raced through to score.
Florian Fritz added another after a defensive bungle, but Joe Beardshaw crossed for Glasgow before the break.
However, two Jean-Baptiste Elissalde penalties soon put Toulouse in command, while Clerc later added a fourth try to earn a bonus point for the Frenchmen.
Glasgow had started well, but were unable to make their pressure tell after Parks' perfectly-weighted chip forced the visitors to give away a scrum five metres out.
Gareth Maclure made a mazy run for Beardshaw's try, which was converted by Parks.

But the Scots were then pinned back in their own half after the interval - and Toulouse's final try even came from a turnover five metres from their own line before Clerc ran 60 metres to power in.
