Newcastle climbed to sixth place in the Guinness Premiership as they secured a second consecutive league victory.
The Falcons went in front through a Rob Vickers try and led 8-0 up at the break after Jimmy Gopperth added a penalty at a wet and windy Kingston Park.
Gopperth nudged the Falcons further ahead with his second penalty before Willie Walker finally got the visitors on the board just after the hour mark.
Gopperth then added a third penalty as the hosts ran out comfortable winners.
Falcons boss Steve Bates: "We're moving in the right direction - but after winning at Bath last week, it was very important for us not to lose today.
"Had we not consolidated on last week's win, it would have been massively disappointing.
"We talked all week about being single-minded and ruthless."
Warriors director of rugby Mike Ruddock:
"They were certainly more streetwise than us and had the 'nudge' on us in the scrummage in the first half - although we came back at them after half-time.
"Their half-backs (Jimmy) Gopperth and (Micky) Young were better than ours at the kicking game, and (Carl) Hayman is a mighty 'package' in a good front row where Newcastle are no longer a soft touch."
