Northampton have signed Canadian full-back James Pritchard for the rest of the season to cover their lengthy injury list.
Pritchard played in the 2003 World Cup for Canada
The Australian-born 26-year-old has won seven caps for Canada including two appearances in the 2003 World Cup.
Saints have been hit by injuries to Seamus Mallon, Geoff Appleford, Paul Diggin and Rhodri Davies in the backs.
"James is able to cover the majority of positions we are struggling with," said rugby director Budge Pountney.
Pritchard has also played for Bedford, Plymouth and French side Perpignan and can also help out with the goal-kicking duties.
