Representatives of Premier Rugby Ltd and the Rugby Football Union met on Wednesday as the club-versus-country row rumbled on.
The High Court decided on Monday that a trial to resolve the issue would be held between 13 February and 3 March next year.
It also ruled that the RFU must continue to make payments to PRL under the terms of the "Long Form Agreement".
Both parties were required to comply with the Elite Player Squad document.
The EPS document, from June 2004, sets the number of training days for international players, specifies the size of club squads, match limits and fixture issues for England A and Under-21 games.
