21 mins: Rob Howley intercepts and races over between the posts but Wasps are denied a try as the referee pulls them back for a knock-on.

15 mins: Malone has a chance to kick a second penalty after Paul Volley is caught offside at a ruck but the Australian fly-half pushes his attempt wide.

4 mins: Bath take the lead as fly-half Chris Malone slots an angled penalty from the right of the posts.
Wasps 0-3 Bath

1 min: The game gets underway and Bath soon find themselves under pressure as Mike Catt, playing full-back, has his clearance kick charged down. The West Country side escape as Wasps knock the ball on.

Reigning champions Wasps will be looking to defend the title they won when they hammered Gloucester last year.

Bath, like Gloucester, topped the table in the regular season.

They will be hoping that their enforced break since the league finished means they are fresher than Wasps, who last weekend beat Toulouse at the same ground to win the Heineken Cup and become champions of Europe.
