Saracens savaged the
Leeds Tykes to take control of their Zurich Premiership wildcard play-off after the first leg at Vicarage Road.
Sarries ran in six tries and fly-half Andy Goode kicked 27 points to take a 36-point advantage into Sunday's second leg at Headingley.
Tom Shanklin scored one of Saracens six tries
Wayne Shelford's side only just escaped relegation, but played like a side at the other end of the table to score five tries from long range before Kevin Sorrell added one from close to the line in injury time.
Ben Johnston, Tom Shanklin,

Leeds could only muster a reply after 10 minutes from Winston Stanley and Chris Hall's 40th-minute effort and trailed 33-14 at the break.
Chesney was put across by French prop Christian Califano before Stanley's dubious try reduced the arrears.
Horan celebrated his last home appearance before
retirement by cutting inside two defenders on half-way and shrugging off a
tackle before accelerating away under the posts.

kicks in injury-time after Sorrell barged through another weak tackle on the
right at the death.
