Rotherham have made their sixth pre-season signing from a Welsh club by recruiting Bridgend prop Christian Loader.
Chris Loader joins the Welsh exodus to Rotherham
Loader, who won 19 Welsh caps between 1995 and 1997, follows Llanelli pair Guy Easterby and Luke Gross, Newport duo Jason Strange and Jon Pritchard, plus Pontypridd backrow man Geraint Lewis to Yorkshire.
"Chris can play both sides of the scrum," said Rotherham chief executive Jim Kilfoyle.
"We have brought him here mainly to compete at tighthead, but he is going to be a very useful player to have around."
Rotherham have already started training for next season's Zurich Premiership campaign, which is due to begin against Gloucester at Kingsholm on 13 September.
Apart from Loader, the latest new arrivals are former Sale wing/full-back Anthony Elliott and back-row forward Lee Starling, who was with London Welsh last term.
