Leicester 11-16 Gloucester

80 mins (+6): Desperate defending from Gloucester holds against Leicester's last-ditch attack. The ball is turned over and Gomersall puts the ball straight out to secure Gloucester's place at Twickenham.

80 mins (+5): Roncero goes off, and the referee orders uncontested scrums to Leicester's disgust.

80 mins (+3): Leicester drive over the line, but Dorian West is held up by some tremendous Gloucester defence.

80 mins (+2): Leicester win the line-out, but Gloucester manage to bring it to a halt. However, the referee warns Gloucester that he is considering a penalty try should another offence take place.

79 mins: With the rain lashing down, Leicester mount a desperate last attack and win a penalty that again goes into the corner.

77 mins: Mercier belts over a long-range penalty almost straight from the kick-off after Leicester are penalised at the ruck. Leicester 11-16 Gloucester

75 mins: Josh Kronfeld goes over for a try following a traditional Leicester rolling maul. But, crucially, Stimpson misses the conversion. Leicester 11-13 Gloucester

74 mins: Leicester turn down a kickable penalty after a line-out offence. Kaferpops the ball in the corner.

71 mins: Leicester bring on Tom Tierney and Perry Freshwater for Jamie Hamilton and Graham Rowntree. Gloucester introduce Junior Paramore at the expense of Forrester.

70 mins: Gloucester again snatch the ball at the line-out and put the ball out of danger.

69 mins: Leicester totally disrupt the Gloucester scrum and win a penalty which Kafer puts into the corner.

68 mins: A fantastic Leicester rollingmaul puts Leicester in with a chance at the corner. But superb defence from the line-out forces Hamilton five yards back and Gloucester win the scrum put-in.

61 mins: Leicester respond immediately and a penalty in the corner gives them a great platform. But Gloucester steal the ball at the line-out and clear 60 yards downfield.

58 mins: The impressive Delport goes over for Gloucester's second try in five minutes. Following great ball off the top of the line-out, the Gloucester backs simply beat the Leicester drift defence with simple passing. But Mercier again misses the conversion. Leicester 6-13 Gloucester

57 mins: Mercier belts the ball 50 yards down into the Leicester 22 with a sweetly-struck penalty.

56 mins: Marcus Garvey goes over for a delightful try after an astonishing pass out of the tackle from Delport. The Gloucester winger outpaces and outmuscles three Leicester defenders on his way to the line. Mercier goes wide with the conversion. Leicester 6-8 Gloucester

53 mins: Geordan Murphy wastes an overlap with a needless knock-on on the half-way line.

50 mins: Gloucester let themselves down at the breakdown again with an Andy Gomarsall knock-on.

47 mins: Jamie Hamilton kicks ahead and the Gloucester fans are unhappy with the touch judge's interpretation of where the ball went into touch following Thinus Delport's clearance.

43 mins: Gloucester respond with a solid attack of their own, but another spilled pass loses them possession.

41 mins: Leicester start well and it takes a tap tackle on Hamilton to prevent a try under the posts.

40 mins: England prop Trevor Woodman comes on for Rodrigo Roncero.

40 mins (+5): A beautiful kick from the increasingly influential Paul puts Gloucester in a great position, but the half-time whistle goes before the line-out can be taken. Despite dominating possession and territory Gloucester go in three points behind.

40 mins (+3): A silly offence at the ruck gives Stimpson another chance in front of the posts and he makes no mistake to put the Tigers back in the lead. Leicester 6-3 Gloucester

40 mins: Leicester are awarded a penalty five yards inside their own half and Stimpson goes for goal. His effort goes just wide, but distance was no problem.

37 mins: Two sharp breaks from fly-half Sam Vesty relieve the pressure on Leicester, but the move breaks down with a bad knock-on at the breakdown.

34 mins: A potentially dangerous Gloucester line-out is wasted as Olivier Azam's throw goes astray.

32 mins: Leicester scum-half Jamie Hamilton is penalised for a stamp on Simpson-Daniel, but Mercier's penalty attempt drifts well wide.

31 mins: The game is heating up with late challenges and over-zealous rucking causing tempers to fray.

26 mins: Leicester put the ball out straight from the kick-off and Geordan Murphy is penalised at the breakdown for not releasing. Again, Gloucester turn down a kickable penalty for territory.

25 mins: A terrible knock-on from Tim Stimpson gives Gloucester the chance of a try, but a cynical foul from Josh Kronfeld allows Mercier to bring his side level. Leicester 3-3 Gloucester

22 mins: Gloucester go long from the line-out, but Ludovic Mercier's drop goal attempt goes inches wide.

21 mins: Gloucester awarded a kickable penalty for Leicester forwards coming in at the side, but they opt to go for touch instead.

19 mins: Two clever chips turn the Leicester defence, but they scramble the ball into touch through Geordan Murphy.

15 mins: A terrible mix-up in the Leicester midfield gives Gloucester a breakaway opportunity, but the chance is wasted with a knock-on.

13 mins: A misunderstanding between James Simpson-Daniel and James Forrester puts Gloucester under pressure.

11 mins: A fine clearance from Henry Paul puts Gloucester in a dangerous position inside the Leicester half.

5 mins: Leicester full-back Tim Stimpson puts the Tigers in front with a simple penalty in front of the posts. Leicester 3-0 Gloucester
