Mullin takes Exiles chair
Brendan Mullin in action for Ireland against Wales in 1995
Mullins won 55 caps for Ireland
London Irish have appointed former Ireland and Lions centre Brendan Mullin as their new chairman.

The 39-year-old, who won the last of his 55 Ireland caps in 1995, is already a director of London Irish Holdings.

Mullin takes over from John Conlan and Kevin Clancy, who have been joint chairmen of the club for the past two years.

Mullin, who also played for the Exiles from 1987 to 1989, strengthens the playing experience on the board after the recent appointment of Conor O'Shea as managing director.

"We welcome Brendan's appointment and the overall expertise he will bring to this important position," said Conlan.
