1030 BST: Right folks, we'll leave it there. Thanks for all your contributions. Nervous win but the Scots got over the line, and they have an 11-day break now before they face Argentina a week on Sunday, 25 September, in Wellington. The Georgians get three days off before they face England this Sunday. Such is the minnows' lot at World Cups. We'll be back for more live commentary on Saturday, when the big game is Ireland v Australia. Meantime, enjoy Russia v USA on Thursday and and New Zealand v Japan on Friday. Tidy.

To come away with a win there is great work from the Scots, a few people expected more though, gives England an insight on both #RWC #BBCRWC
Georgia coach Richie Dixon: "Scotland were dominant in the game. Our defence was very good but the unfortunate thing for us was that we had far too many errors at this level. That allowed Scotland to dominate. We know we have work to do in the set-piece, but we killed ourselves in terms of our attacking momentum by conceding far too many penalties. You can't build momentum in attack if you keep giving the other team penalties."
angus987 on Twitter:
Didn't do the stress levels any good following coverage on #bbcrwc but at least the dreams still alive for Scotland...
Scotland coach Andy Robinson: "It was never going to be pretty today because of the conditions. Because of that, we needed our front five to perform and that is what they did. Our handling let us down and we gave away a lot of ball, and that released the pressure on Georgia and allowed them to come out of their half. We weren't accurate enough and that is why the score was a lot closer than it should have been."
Scotland captain Rory Lawson: "I think the conditions dictated a lot. We came up against a big old Georgia side who were really determined, really physical. Ultimately it was a workmanlike performance to put them away. We kept plugging away, played rugby in the right areas to put them under pressure and took the points when they came our way. Massive hats off to our front five. They were absolutely outstanding. The boys really showed what they are about. We came to Invercargill looking for two wins and we have got what we wanted. We had a tough four-day turnaround but we leave with nine points."
80 mins: FULL-TIME Scotland 15-6 Georgia: Never in doubt was it? Very difficult conditions, but still far too many handling errors from Scotland. Only the sixth ever try-less match at a Rugby World Cup, and only the second in the pool stages. Stat.
80 mins: FULL-TIME Scotland 15-6 Georgia:
Scotland's pack - and Euan Murray in particular - emphasize their dominance by winning a penalty from the last scrum of the match. Parks kicks it off the field and Scotland are two from two at this World Cup.
79 mins: Scotland 15-6 Georgia: Georgia win a penalty and kick it to touch inside the Scots' 22. But Jim Hamilton gets up in front of the Georgians and they knock it on, to much relief all round in the Scotland coaching box.
76 mins: PENALTY Scotland 15-6 Georgia: Georgia concede their 13th penalty, this time for coming in at the side of a ruck, and
Parks has another chance. Good kick from 40-odd metres. Gap back up to nine points.
72 mins: PENALTY Scotland 12-6 Georgia: Scotland penalised for not releasing at a ruck, and
Kvirikashvili sticks it between the posts. Game on again. Nervous times for Scots.
70 mins: Scotland 12-3 Georgia: Couple of replacements on for Scotland. Big Richie Gray on at lock, Chris Paterson on at full-back. No reflection that on Rory Lamont's performance. Suspect they just want their top goalkicker on at the death.
69 mins: PENALTY Scotland 12-3 Georgia: Georgians fall offisde at the ruck, and
Parks will have another opportunity to put Scotland nine points clear...this time he nails it. Breathing space for Scots.
67 mins: Scotland 9-3 Georgia: Still hammering it down at Rugby Park Stadium as we crouch, touch, pause and engage for another scrum. Scotland tight-head Euan Murray in his element.
65 mins: Scotland 9-3 Georgia: Strong break from Rory Lamont into open space down the left touchline. Gets his pass away to Jim Hamilton, but the big lock is bundled into touch. More promising from Scotland.
64 mins: Scotland 9-3 Georgia: Georgia send on a couple more replacements - that's four in all - including experienced Castres hooker Girogadze. Scots still to make any changes.
63 mins: Scotland 9-3 Georgia: Anguished look on Parks' face as he pushes his kick wide of the right-hand post. Could we see Chris Paterson coming on if this state of affairs continues?
62 mins: Scotland 9-3 Georgia: Scotland certainly on top at scrum-time, earning another penalty as Georgia don't take the contact. Parks is going to have a go at the posts from near halfway.
61 mins: Scotland 9-3 Georgia: Bit of a break for some running repairs. Into the final quarter now. Can Scotland get a try on the board?
BruceMcTodd on Twitter:
Ok 4 tries aren't going to happen then, would just like to see some more points so we don't need to worry about a late slip up. #BBCRWC
58 mins: Scotland 9-3 Georgia: Big scrum from Scotland prop Allan Jacobsen to earn a penalty, then flanker Kelly Brown earns another one with some great work on the floor. Still pointless in this third quarter though.
54 mins: Scotland 9-3 Georgia: Lovely chip over the onrushing defence from Parks, Max Evans claiming the loose ball. Parks then tries a cross-kick to Rory Lamont on the left touchline, but the full-back has a foot in touch as he claims it. Shame for Scots, that was looking promising.
52 mins: Scotland 9-3 Georgia: Great play from Scotland flanker Ross Rennie, ripping the ball away from Georgia, allowing Parks to bend a kick into touch in the Georgia 22.
51 mins: Scotland 9-3 Georgia: Drop-goal attempt from Georgia fly-half Kvirikashvili, but it only wobbles about two metres off the ground and Scotland clear to touch. Still no score in second half.
48 mins: Scotland 9-3 Georgia: Sean Lamont commits the ninth handling error for Scotland, and in his frustration lashes out with his foot, inadvertently giving Georgia centre Zibzibadze a painful whack. Ouch.
46 mins: Scotland 9-3 Georgia: Sean Lamont launches a decent attack but again, Scotland fail to hold onto the ball, Strokosch this time the culprit. Andy Robinson, up in the coaching box, has that 'did they not listen to a word I said at half-time' look.
44 mins: Scotland 9-3 Georgia: Yet another mistake from Scotland as centre Graeme Morrison spills the ball as he takes the ball into contact. Apologies - that HT graphic should have gone now.
43 mins: Scotland 9-3 Georgia: Great probing touchfinder from Parks, Georgia take a quick line-out and slice the ball into touch. Good line-out position for Scotland.
41 mins: Scotland 9-3 Georgia: Good opening minute for Scotland before prop Allan "Chunk" Jacobsen knocks the ball on and Georgia get a scrum on their own 22.
40 mins: Scotland 9-3 Georgia: Tipping down now in Invercargill as the players emerge for the second half. Big role for Parks you suspect, playing for territory in these conditions.

It appears the Georgia number 3 is Zangief from street fighter. Unfair advantage. #rwc #bbcrwc

#bbcrwc Trying to remain optimistic but have a terrible feeling about the Scotland match so far. Come on Scotland

Could be in for a nervous second half unless Scotland pick things up a bit and keep hold of the ball #BBCRWC
40 mins: Scotland 9-3 Georgia:
Parks tries to kick the ball out to signal half-time, but it hits a Georgia player and the underdogs are on the charge in the Scots 22 before a knock-on brings first-half proceedings to a close.
38 mins: DROP-GOAL Scotland 9-3 Georgia: Good opportunism from
Parks after Rory Lawson has a kick charged down. The fly-half pulls the trigger from just inside the Georgia half to give Scotland a bit of a cushion approaching half-time.
37 mins: Scotland 6-3 Georgia: Decent position for Georgia, but they are penalised for a bit of 'truck-and-trailor' as they attempt to maul it in the Scots' 22.
35 mins: Scotland 6-3 Georgia: Box kick from Georgia scrum-half Abuseridze deep into Scotland territory, but Rory Lamont, a composed presence, clears safely to touch.
33 mins: PENALTY Scotland 6-3 Georgia: Undeterred, Scotland back on the attack and ref Clancy warns the Georgians as they concede another penalty. This time
Parks does the business from the left touchline. Scotland in front.
31 mins: Scotland 3-3 Georgia: Rory Lamont has been safe as houses so far, the full-back taking another high kick and launching a counter attack. Quick passing from Scots, but when they take it into contact 30m out, Georgia turn them over for a seventh time and clear the danger.
28 mins: Scotland 3-3 Georgia: Couple of loose kicks out of defence by Parks, and Georgia run the second back. But number eight Dimitri Basilaia decides to try a chip ahead, and knocks it straight into touch. Not a lot of quality on show so far.
26 mins: Scotland 3-3 Georgia: Parks lines up another penalty from just inside the Georgia half. Strikes it well enough, but drifts narrowly wide.
23 mins: PENALTY Scotland 3-3 Georgia: This time Scotland fly-half
Dan Parks finds his radar - he couldn't miss if truth be told, right in front of the posts - and Scotland are level.
19 mins: Scotland 0-3 Georgia: Instant riposte from Scots, decent attack takes them up to opposition 22, and Georgia infringe. Dan Parks lines up the penalty from near the left touchline, 30m out, but it's a shocker. Pulls it horribly wide.
17 mins: PENALTY Scotland 0-3 Georgia: Georgia fly-half
Merab Kvirikashvili lands a huge kick from 50-odd metres, and Georgia are in front.
15 mins: Scotland 0-0 Georgia: Georgia move the ball quickly from a scrum, wing Todua having a dart up the right flank. But Scotland flanker Kelly Brown makes a good tackle to relieve the pressure.
12 mins: Scotland 0-0 Georgia: Good scrum from Scotland, putting the squeeze on the Georgians. But the Scots are immediately penalised for holding onto the ball in the tackle. Frustrating.
11 mins: Scotland 0-0 Georgia: Hamilton takes line-out for Scots, Parks - up flat on the gainline - spins the ball out but De Luca knocks on. That's the fourth Scottish handling error so far.
9 mins: Scotland 0-0 Georgia: Better from Scotland, putting some phases together, until Ross Ford drops the ball in contact. Half-break from Nick De Luca, Georgia infringe at a ruck, Parks kicks penalty to touch inside Georgia 22.
5 mins: Scotland 0-0 Georgia: Georgia get themselves in a good position inside the Scots' half but fly-half Kvirikashvili slices his left-footed drop-goal attempt wide of the posts. Chance missed.
4 mins: Scotland 0-0 Georgia: Early charge from "Godzilla" - 6ft 5 in, 18st 10lb Montpellier flanker Mamuka Gorgodze - and Al Strokosch misses his first-up tackle.
3 mins: Scotland 0-0 Georgia: Scotland knocked on from the line-out so nothing came of that. Georgia gets their hands on the ball and they are awarded a penalty by Irish ref George Clancy as the Scots stray offside at the ruck. Georgia kick to touch.
1 min: Scotland 0-0 Georgia: Georgia kick off. We're up and running at Rugby Park Stadium. Early penalty straight away to Scotland after Hines claims kick-off. Parks kicks to touch.
0825 BST: Anthems time. Scottish boys belting out "Flower of Scotland" in Invercargill. Only five of the same starting line-up that squeezed home against Romania - wings Max Evans and Sean Lamont, prop Allan Jacobsen, flanker Kelly Brown and hooker Ford.
0820: Team news: A late withdrawal for Scotland. Hooker Scott Lawson has a tight calf so Ross Ford starts and Dougie Hall comes onto the replacements' bench. Here are the teams in full:
