Teenager Joseph Griffin kicked a last-gasp penalty to earn Cardiff Blues a draw against Exeter Chiefs in the LV= Cup on Friday. Tries from Simon Alcott and Nic Sestaret, plus three penalties and two conversions from Ryan Davis, gave Exeter a 23-12 half-time lead. Gareth Davies replied with four first-half penalties for the Blues. The home side's Dan Fish struck back and Davies added another penalty before Griffin, 18, capped a brave comeback.
