Exeter Chiefs' full-back Josh Matavesi has been called up to the Fiji squad for their European tour which kicks off against Scotland on 14 November. The 19-year-old was born in Cornwall, but qualifies to play for Fiji through his father. Matavesi said: "I never dreamed I would get the chance to play international rugby so early on in my career." The 30 man Fijian touring party face further tests against Ireland and Romania before the end of November. Chiefs head coach Rob Baxter said Matavesi should come back a stronger player as a result of the experience. He said: "To be invited on an international tour at such a young age is both a great honour and a chance to improve his skills alongside some of the most innovative and exciting players in the world. "As a club, we are very proud of his achievement and look forward to him returning to Sandy Park full of vim and vigour."
