Hill's side have won on their previous two visits to Cambridge
|
Launceston went down to their third consecutive league defeat at Cambridge on Saturday. The hosts dominated the fixture from the outset, running in three tries to build a 22-3 lead at the break. Stef Liebenberg touched down twice for Cambridge, with Matthew Edison also going over as Craig Evans added the extras with the boot. Launceston crossed the line through Bruce Pow in the second period but failed to close the gap any further. The Cornish All Blacks are now without a league win since beating Tynedale at Polson Bridge on 10 October and have slipped to sixth in National One. Cambridge are currently fourth in the league with 31 points.
