Bedford 11-20 Exeter Chiefs

Exeter Chiefs

Exeter Chiefs remain unbeaten in the Championship after a tough away win at Bedford on Saturday.

The Chiefs led 14-3 at the break at Goldington Road, thanks to tries from Hadyn Thomas and James Scaysbrook.

In the second-half, the Blues fought back with an Ollie Dodge try and a penalty from James Pritchard putting the scores at 14-11.

Fly-half Gareth Steenson then eased the nerves for the Chiefs with two late penalties to make sure of the win.
